Screen Details

Your image, pre-burned on a high quality aluminum frame, ready to print! Our 18"x20" screens have a 10"x12" Image Area, and are great for printers using smaller table top presses or no press at all. If a larger image is needed, please view our larger screens. Please note the artwork uploader will be on the order confirmation after checkout.

The standard emulsion we use on our pre-burned screens holds up extremely well to plastisol, water based, and discharge inks. If you are using solvent, enamel or uv inks, please choose the option for HXT emulsion instead of TX-D.

*Please refer to our artwork requirements before sending us your artwork.
Art files that do not meet our requirements are subject to a $60/hr. artwork fee.
(We will notify you beforehand if any artwork charges will need to be applied).

Artwork Upload

After you place your order, there will be an upload form for your artwork on the confirmation page. If for whatever reason this form doesn't show up, please upload your artwork here referencing your order number in the subject line, or email the artwork directly to art@anthemprintingsf.com

When you upload your artwork, there will be an option to request a free digital proof. If this option is selected, we will send you a digital representation of the screen prior to burning and shipping it out. We allow up to two additional revision mockups if you'd like anything changed. Further revision mockups will incur an additional $5 fee each.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When/Where do I upload my artwork?
After you add your screens of choice to your cart and check out, you will be directed to an order confirmation page with an artwork uploader. Upload your artwork file/s to this form, put your Order # in the specified field, and add any specifications you'd like us to know about.
  • How should I format my artwork?
Please refer to our artwork requirements found here.
  • How do I know my screen will come out how I want it?
When you upload your artwork, there will be an option to request a free digital proof. If this option is selected, we will send you a digital representation of the screen prior to burning and shipping it out. We allow up to two additional revision mockups if you'd like anything changed. Further revision mockups will incur an additional $5 fee each.
  • Which mesh count is right for me?
Refer to our "Choosing Your Mesh Count" page found here.
  • How large can my image be?
Our 18"x20" screens have a max "Image Area" of 10"x12". This is the total space available for your artwork to fit in to, and should be the canvas size of the artwork you upload with your order.
  • Can I fit multiple images on my screen?
Absolutely! You can place as many images as you want in the allotted "Image Area" for your screen size. Just keep in mind that the more images you have burned on the screen, the more taping you will have to do and the more difficult it will be to print with.
  • Why is the image area much smaller than the screen?
The screen dimensions include the actual frame, which consists of 1.5" walls. This means an 18"x20" screen actually has a 15"x17" inner dimension. Your image should be at least 2.5" away from these inner walls of the frame to allow room for your squeegee, ink, and areas of mesh that are too taught, which brings the max printable area of an 18"x20" screen down to 10"x12". These same basic principles apply to all other screen frame sizes.
  • How long will the image on my screen last?
As long as the screen is used and cared for properly, the burned image should withstand thousands of prints. Use screen chemicals sparingly, keep mesh away from sharp objects, don't scrub screen with extremely rough surfaces, etc.
  • How long will it take for my screen/s to ship?
Orders placed before 4pm (PST) are ready to ship the following business day, as long as the print ready artwork is also received by 4pm. Please note this only applies to screens that are in stock at our warehouse. If you are able to add the screen to your cart and check out, the screen is in stock.
  • My screen ripped, what do I do?
If your screen arrived with a tear, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt along with a picture of the torn screen, and we can send out a replacement right away. After 48 hours of receipt, we are unable to offer any replacements or credits.
  • What if I order the wrong screen size or mesh count?
If you are not sure what size screen or mesh count you need, we recommend you contact one of our sales reps or email us at art@anthemprintingsf.com for assistance prior to placing your order. Any screen that needs to be swapped out after an order is placed is subject to a $10 re-stocking fee.
  • What if I need to cancel my order?
Pre-burned screens are subject to a $20 cancellation fee per screen if they have already been coated with emulsion. Screens ordered before 4pm PST are coated that night, so please let us know right away if you need to cancel an order to avoid the cancellation fee.

2 of 5 Looked good but not durable November 18, 2019
Reviewer: Nicole Liggett from CORONA, CA United States
After attempting to print my first shirt I noticed that 3 parts of the emulsion around the lettering came off.  I contacted customer service and they basically said "not my problem" but in a nice way.  I am now having to pay $30 + shipping to get the screen reclaimed and redone.  Not sure why I'm even doing that since I don't have much faith in the quality but I guess it's better than throwing the screen away.  I will say that I had an order queued up for 6 more screens but ended up ordering them through another company since your customer service did not offer any kind of quality guarantee on my first screen.

Reviewer: Ara Casey from Brentwood, MD United States
The screen we ordered arrived with very clean lines and easy to use registration marks. Our design included lots of fine line work and geometric detail. The prints turned out wonderfully.
