OptiDrive Water Based Low Cure Additive

Have you ever wanted to speed up the curing process of waterbase ink? Or lower the curing temperature needed to cure waterbase screen printing inks? With OptiDrive Low Cure Catalyst, now you can!

Our OptiDrive Water Based Low Cure Additive works well with all brands of water based ink, and is great for printing on dye migration prone material. OptiDrive also is perfect for printers who do not have forced air conveyor dryers that are required to properly cure water base inks.

When OptiDrive is added to water-based ink, it lowers the curing temperature of the ink from 330º to as low as 180º Farenheit.

By lowering the curing point of the ink, not as much heat will be required, and you will be able to print on specialty materials like polyester and tri-blends without the need to worry about dye migration or harming the fabric due to heat issues.

Please keep in mind when using a catalyst, ONLY mix as much ink as you will use for the job. Your ink will have a 24 hour shelf life once the OptiDrive Low Cure Catalyst is added to the ink.

Mixing Info

Use gloves and eye production while mixing. Add 1.5% OptiDrive to ink by weight. Mix well to ensure OptiDrive is fully dispersed into the ink. Once mixed, the ink has a shelf life of 24 hours. All leftover ink should be cleaned from the screen and disposed of properly.

Storage Info

Keep container tightly sealed. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Under normal conditions, OptiDrive is stable for 6 months. Protect from frost and keep away from heat.
